Hi there everyone!

Sorry we haven't updated for ages, but we lost our computer for about a month! (well not actually lost it...u know what I mean!)

We have just got back from a week in the Canary Islands, it was a well earned break. A bit windy and cloudy at times but mainly hot and sunny and we managed to get a pretty good tan!

Back to the daily grind again though.......spring is starting to hit the UK with some really gorgeous sunny days. The birds are singing and all the daffodils are in bloom.
I've just been to Jacobs 3rd Birthday party, which luckily only involved 6 children so not too much chaos and noise! Mum did him proud with a fantastic tractor/trailer cake complete with farmer driving it! Played pass the parcel and pin the tail on the donkey.....although this nanny state says you can't use pins anymore so it had to be blue tack!
Jacob had a great time though, he's easily pleased bless him!

Neil just found out he has to have a minor op on his elbow. They have to disconnect the nerves and attach them somewhere else (in his elbow of course!) so that his 'funny bone area' will be inside his elbow and not on the end as is now! He has managed to flattened the nerve over the years of lifting and leaning on it, and has intermittent tingling and numbness his two of his fingers.

That should wangle him 2-4 weeks off work, which pleases him!

That's all for now, will update again soon and get some piccies on here.

some more pics! I'm getting the hang of it now!!!

Whiteout Blighty!!

Well for those of you who sensibly cleared off to foreign parts, have a look at these piccies and tell me you don't miss it! C'mon.......not even a bit?

As usual the country has come to a grinding hault, Schools closed, airports closed, buses not running! We have approx 3-4 inches of snow, pretty good I think! Nate hasn't made it in to work, and poor Neil (grandad) had to dice with death to get into work and then continue to do this responding to 'emergency' calls!

Our last conversation caontained many expletives in a strong Geordie accent (it gets stronger the more annoyed he gets!!) about how he was supposed to respond to a call up Milton Road (some of you will know how steep it is), Maybe the general public think we have special snow blasting powers???

Logic would say that if they couldn't get to school, then there is a fair chance we can't get to THEM!

Amber suprised us by venturing out into the snow.....remarkable considering she is usually firmly wedged under the radiator every morning!

Will update soon,

Love to you all,

Sam and Neil (grandad/Daddy) xxxxxxxx

The Purvis Posse in the UK!

For those who are in the least bit interested in what we get up to!!!
